Anne G. Breuer of Melbourne, FL and formerly of Kingston died Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Vellrose Nursing Home in Palm Bay, FL. She was born in Brooklyn, a daughter of the late Nathan and Lillian Newman Katz. Anne married Harold Breuer on June 26, 1958. They moved to Kingston in 1965. A member of Temple Emanuel, Anne previously served as a Board Member and President of the Sisterhood. A Past President of the Kingston Chapter of Hadassah, Anne served as a member of the NYS Region Board of Hadassah. She owned and operated The Offbeat Boutique, formerly of Wall St., Kingston and served as Chairwoman of the Committee of Kingston NY for Women's Concerns. Anne was instrumental in creating the Kingston Battered Women's Shelter. In 2000 Harold and Anne moved to Melbourne, FL. Beloved wife of Harold Breuer, loving mother of Lawrence Breuer of Mercer Island, Washington, Michael Breuer and his wife Dawn of Kingston, Noralyn Soroka and her husband David of Rockville, MD; sister of Paul Katz of Charlottesville, VA and the late Daniel Katz; grandmother of Zyanya Kortooms Breuer, Sydney and Taylor Soroka and Sarah Breuer; step grandmother of Derek and Drew Tynan; mother in law of the late Marie Therese Breuer. Several nieces, nephews and their children also survive. A Funeral Service will be conducted at Temple Emanuel, 243 Albany Ave., Kingston on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 10:00 Am. Interment will follow in Montrepose Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Emanuel or Hadassah
