Anne C. Riley

Anne C. Riley, a long time Hurley resident passed away March 8, 2017. Born Anne Dittmar, she was the daughter of the late Catherine and George Dittmar of Kingston. Anne married Alton Riley, who predeceased her in 2008 after 52 years of marriage. She was a graduate of Ulster Community College and worked for Electrol Inc. for 10 years and NYS Office of Vocational Rehabilitation for 17 years. She was a member of the Hurley Heritage Society, Hurley Senior Citizens, Kingston Maritime Museum and Kingston Hospital Auxiliary. Anne is survived by her daughter Susan Riley and her husband Brian Nagle of Woodstock, NY; her son Michael Riley and his wife Laura of Glenelg, Maryland; and daughter Linda Strathman and husband John of Ft. Myers Florida. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Eric Konrad and wife Victoria; Evan Strathman and wife Julianne; Maxwell Strathman, Emma Nagle and Collin Nagle and great granddaughter, Juliet Konrad. A memorial mass at St. Joseph's Church will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Inurnment will follow in Hurley Cemetery.
