Anna Pardini, 93, of Kingston, formerly of Big Indian, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, at Golden Hill Health Care Center in Kingston. She was born June 20, 1920 in Manhattan to the late Teresa (Tresta) Posch and grew up in the Bronx before moving to the Catskill Mts with her husband Arrigo Pardini in 1962 where she thrived as a local artist capturing natures' inspirations in her Chinese brushwork, oil paintings, watercolors, and drawings. She was also a potter and a sculptor. Anna was a spiritual woman and astrologist, and in her later years she published several books of her personal writings and inspirational thoughts.
Anna and Arrigo were married for 61 years when he passed away in August 2001. She is survived by her brother; Mario Posch of Virginia, son; Earl Pardini of Kingston, daughter; Enid Cytryn of Big Indian, and many loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
