Anna Mae Miller

Anna Mae Miller, 92, of Kingston, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014. She was born December 4, 1922 in New Paltz, to the late Chauncey and Mabel (Carroll) Elliott. She was married to the late Walter "Doc" Miller who passed away in 1990.

Anna Mae was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Joyce-Schirick Post # 1386 VFW Ladies Auxiliary where she had served as president.

Anna Mae is survived by her children, Dennis Miller and his wife Mary Ann of Kingston, Denise Roeber and her husband Gary of Kingston, grandchildren, Michael Roeber, Jennifer DeRise and her husband Fred, Michelle Miller, great grandchildren, Bianca and Antonio DeRise, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she is predeceased by her brother, Chauncey Elliott Jr., and her sister in law Mignon Elliott.

Entrusted to the care of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, where friends and family may visit on Friday December 26th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral procession will form at the funeral home on Saturday December 27th at 9am and proceed to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 22 Livingston St., Kingston where the funeral service will take place at 10am. Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery.
