Anna Mae Guido, of Abruyn St., Kingston died Thursday, June 7, 2007 at Kingston Hospital. She was 77.
A native and lifelong Kingston resident, she was born on August 5, 1929, a daughter of the late Stanley Betley and Mae Theresa Betley Finkle.
Mrs. Guido worked at Hercules in Port Ewen, Knaust Brothers and NY Telephone. She retired from the Ulster County Infirmary as a nurses assistant in 1989. She also worked at the family business, Uncle Ernie's (formerly Frank's Restaurant) in Kingston.
A parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church, she belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary, Post 150, Kingston.
Her former husband, Ernest Guido died January 30, 2004, her sons Ernest Michael Guido died in 2005 and baby Michael Stanley Guido died in 1957. One half sister Ruth Finkle Fattarino, one step sister Arlene Raible, twostep brothers Harold and Donald Finkle all died previously.
Surviving are her Goddaughter Jo-Anne Matthews of Kingston, one step brother Robert Finkle of Ulster Park, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Avenue on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral will be Monday at 9:00 am from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
