Anna Frances Nalepa, formerly of Hanratty Street died Friday, July 25, 2003 at Kingston Hospital. She was 81. A native and lifelong Kingston resident, she was born August 1, 1921, a daughter of the late Wawrzyniec “John L.” and Katarzyna Madajewska Nalepa. Her father died in 1963, her mother in 1928. In 1943 Miss Nalepa began work at Hercules Powder Co. She retired in 1983. She was a parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church. One sister Frances Nalepa and one brother John Nalepa, both died previously. Beloved sister of Joseph P. Nalepa Sr. and the late Frances and John Nalepa; sister in law of Emma Nalepa, aunt of Anne Nalepa, Joseph Nalepa Jr. and Frances Rossi. Three great nephews and one great niece also survive. Reposing at the Simpson – Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY on Monday 6:00 – 9:00 PM. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:15 AM from the funeral home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church, Kingston at 10:00 AM. Fr. John Borzuchowski will officiate. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Kingston.
