Amy Michelle Crossfield (52), beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025, at Hudson Valley Hospice in Poughkeepsie, NY. She was born on April 29, 1972, at 2:00 PM in Midwest City, OK, to Paul and Pam Crossfield.

Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents and mother, Pam May. She is survived by her loving wife, Lynne Ruffini of Woodstock, NY; her father, Paul Crossfield of Oklahoma City, OK; four sisters, Casey (Jeff) Machado of Bixby, OK, Stacey (Callen) Stephens of Shawnee, OK, Paula (Keyaho Rohlfs) Crossfield of Waterville, ME, and Courtney Crossfield of Los Angeles, CA; as well as her cherished nieces and nephews, Avery and Teagan Machado and Casen and Hartly Stephens. She leaves behind many dear family members and friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Amy was a 1990 graduate of Carl Albert High School and went on to earn a Bachelors of Science degree in speech pathology from Oklahoma State University in 1994. However, her passion for comedy led her to Chicago, where she attended the renowned Second City School of Comedy. After four years in Chicago, she was invited to perform at Marshall’s Women in Comedy Festival, prompting a move to Brooklyn, NY where she pursued comedy for 13 years. While in Brooklyn, she started The Dog Walking Network, a business she owned and operated for a decade, overseeing a team that walked over 100 dogs daily.

In 2009, Amy met the love of her life, Lynne Ruffini. The two married on April 17, 2013, and later moved to Woodstock in 2016. There, she began a successful career in real estate with Coldwell Banker in 2019, where she spent six fulfilling years. Amy had a passion for her work, a love for travel, being with friends and family, and treasured time spent with her wife. She had an extraordinary bond with her nieces and nephews, who adored her deeply. Amy’s vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and boundless love for those around her will be profoundly missed. Her legacy of humor, kindness, and dedication to her family and community will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. A celebration of Amy’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to Saugerties Animal Shelter or Hudson Valley Hospice
