Amanda Lynn Timbrouck

March 31, 1984 — May 1, 2014

Amanda Lynn Timbrouck, 30, of Kingston, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in an accident. She was born March 31, 1984 in Poughkeepsie.

She was a 2002 Kingston High School graduate. She was in the KHS Musical for both her junior and senior years. While in high school she also attended classes at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology, and as a talented artist she had aspirations of being a fashion designer.

Amanda's powerful singing voice was evident at a very young age when she would belt out songs from her favorite Disney movies. As a young girl the family joined Riverview Missionary Baptist Church in Kingston and Amanda was a member of the choir and a soloist. Recently Amanda began singing again and could be found at 'open-mike night' in and around the area.

Amanda attended Ulster County Community College where she played on the volleyball team, and transferred to Marist College in Poughkeepsie to study fashion. She had to leave school due to the birth of her daughter. Amanda worked at The Rhinecliff Hotel in Rhinebeck as a waitress and sometimes a bartender.

A young woman with exuberance and zest, she is fondly remembered by so many who speak of her bright smile, infectious laugh, and ability to make everyone laugh.

She is survived by her parents Brian Timbrouck Sr., and Suzanne (Munk) Timbrouck, her fianc, Darin A. Pugliese of Kingston, her daughter, Gabrielle Amanda Rogers of Kingston, her grandparents, Phil and Jackie Timbrouck of Kingston and Pauline Boone of Carlisle, NY, her siblings, Brian Timbrouck Jr., Nicholas Timbrouck, Joshua Timbrouck, Elijah Timbrouck, Hannah Timbrouck, all of Kingston, and her half-brother, Jeffrey Holmes of CA, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins in an extremely large and tight-knit family in Kingston and nearby. She is predeceased by her birth mother, Wendy Williams.
