Alice M. Boria

Alice M. Boria of Kramer Court, Malden-On-Hudson died Thursday, December 11, 2003. She was 56. She was born in Brooklyn on December 31, 1946, a daughter of the late Abraham and Bella Levine Shapiro. Mrs. Boria was raised in Sullivan County and for many years worked at the family hotel, “The Glory Hotel” in Woodridge. For over 20 years she lived in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mrs. Boria returned to this area three years ago. Her most recent employ was for Ulster Publishing in Kingston. Beloved wife of Richard Boria; loving mother of Michelle Giallanza and Jason Schweitzman and his wife Heather; sister of Lewis Shapiro and his wife Susan; grandmother of Michael and Jessica Giallanza, Alexa and Emily Schewitzman; aunt of Adam and Jill Shapiro. There will be a gathering of family and friends at the Boria residence on Saturday, December 13, 2003 at 2:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
