Alice Louise Naccarato, 82, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck. She was born February 27, 1932 in Jamaica, Queens, to the late Robert Loran Brown and Margaret (Hutchinson) Brown. Alice was married to Philip Joseph Naccarato; they wed on April 13th 1952. She was a Kingston High School Graduate, Class of 1950.
Alice worked as a lunch monitor at Zena Elementary School for over 40 years until the school closed in 2013. She was passionate about family, friends and her animals. Her lifelong love of music included singing in the choir at the Hurley Reformed Church and taking piano lessons in her 60's. She surprised her family and friends by signing a beautiful solo to her husband at their 50th anniversary celebration.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Bret Naccarato and his spouse Connie of Binghamton, Debra Bango and her spouse Gary of Clinton, CT, Mark Naccarato and his spouse David Freitas of Bloomfield, CT, her grandchildren, Kevin & Kelly Bango, her brother, Robert Brown and his spouse Mary, her daughter-in-law, Marylou Chatterton, as well as several nieces. She is predeceased by her son, Keith Naccarato.
Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where friends may visit on Saturday March 8th from 10am to 12pm followed by a 12pm memorial service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the Hurley Reformed Church.
