Alice Hart

Alice I. Hart, 89, of Lake Katrine, passed away on Monday February 6, 2023 at home, surrounded by her loving daughters and their families.

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Alice loved to work in her flowers, fishing (in her day) cook and bake for everyone, but her greatest passion was loving and spoiling her family. She was a very special warm loving woman who could always make you smile and make sure you knew you were loved by her three little kisses and one big I love you kiss! 

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Hart Taft (Stan), Susan Hart Lagana (Carl), and Malebogo Batlang, her adopted daughter and caretaker, her grandchildren, Jennifer and Hiro Wakamatsu, Matthew and Rhi Jameson, Kelsie and Shawn Wessel, Bobbie VanBeusichem, Herbert L. Winnie (Erica), and Caitlin Winnie, her great grandchildren, Maya, Emi, Grace, and William, and her precious cat, Bella. Alice was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Hart, Sr. and her best friend and beloved sister, Eleanor Yonta.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401, where friends and family may visit on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 4pm to 7pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 10am with burial follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kingston.
