Alfred Thomas Boyle of Radcliffe Drive, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware died Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at Beebe Medical Center. He was 73.
He was born in Brooklyn on September 3, 1931, a son of the late Alfred A. and Marian Hornemann Boyle. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
A longtime resident of Long Island, he lived in Medford and Sayville. For 38 years Mr. Boyle was a truck driver for the Teamsters. He retired from P.I.E. in 1991.
He moved to North Carolina and, for the past 9 years, resided in Delaware.
Mr. Boyle was a member of the B.P.O.E. and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Delaware.
Two sisters Ruth McKeon and Edith Hanley both died previously.
Surviving are his wife Kathleen E. Hanley Boyle, his children Shawn Simone and her husband Mike of New Jersey, Tracey Ann Boyle of Maywood, NJ, Alfred W. Boyle and his wife Patricia of Manlius, NY, Judith Gross and her husband Tom of Northport, Frank Genovese of New Castle, DE and Christina Allen and her husband Tommy of Winnabow, NC; one sister Arline Ferrette of Staten Island; one brother James Boyle of Las Vegqs, NV; 12 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Avenue on Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM. The funeral will be Monday at 9:15 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, 242 Wall Street, Kingston at 10:00 AM.
Interment will be in the family plot at Oliverea Cemetery, Oliverea, NY.
