Alfred John Jankowski

Alfred John Jankowski, Jr., 1942 - 2008, died Friday, November 14, 2008 at Kindred Hospital, Ocala, FL, after a short illness. He was 65 years old. He was born December 16, 1942 in Goshen, NY to the late Alfred John and Mary Jane Galus Jankowski Sr..

He was married to the former Johanna Malano of Middletown, New York for 46 years. They have 5 children; Christine Schaffner, of Yorktown, Va., Kathleen Baker of Albany, NY, Alfred Paul Jankowski of Kingston, NY, Michael Jankowski of Port Ewen , NY, and Mary Jankowski of Woodstock, NY.
Five Grandchildren; Marisa, Julia, Isabella, Ryan, & Luca. Three Step-Grandchildren; Christopher, Katelyn & Kevin.

He is also survived by; sisters, Lorraine, Jane, Ann Marie & Eileen. Brothers Bob & Stanley. Several Nieces & Nephews.

Al retired from I.B.M. in Poughkeepsie, NY after 32 years. He resided in both, Ocala, FL and Port Ewen, NY.

He was a daily communative at Our Lady of Springs in Ocala, FL, and Presentation of Blessed Virgin Mary in Port Ewen, NY. He was active in several church ministries and the Pro Life Movement.

He will be buried at St. Peters Cemetery in Kingston, NY after a mass of Christian Burial on Saturday November 22, 2008 at Presentaion Parish where he served as a Lector for many years.
