Ruth S. Stucki

Ruth S. Stucki, 80, of Boiceville, NY, passed suddenly, Friday evening, July 18, 2014 at her residence. She was born November 13, 1933 in Campbellton, New Brunswick, Canada. She was the daughter of the late Stewart and Margaret Fenwick.

She was a graduate of Hartland High School, New Brunswick, Canada, Teachers College of Fredericton, NB, Canada and Gordon College of Wenham, MA.

Ruth was a very faithful and active member of Grace Community Church and the Kingston Christian Women's Connection. She was often a guest speaker at many Christian groups .

Ruth was well known as the owner of the Giving Tree Christian Book Store in the Hudson Valley Mall for 14 years.

She is survived by her husband Arthur Stucki and they were married on July 20th, 1957, in Hanau, Germany; her daughters Suzanne Stucki of Shokan, NY and Shereen Humdy and her husband Jerome Humdy of Beverly, MA; grandchildren Steven and Stephanie Tillinghast of Shokan, NY and Gabriel and Jordan Humdy; siblings Shirley Moss and her husband the late Ralph Moss, Murray Fenwick and his wife Ilse Fenwick, Ardith McLaughlin and her husband Dr. Wayne McLaughlin and Phyllis Connell and her husband Charles Connell; 14 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Steven Stucki.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 3 - 5 & 7 - 9. The service will be Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Grace Community Church, Lake Katrine. Burial in Woodstock Cemetery.
