Kingston NY-Margaret Elizabeth McClean Juhl of Naples, FL and Olive Bridge, age 82, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on October 4, 2014. Margaret was born on May 29, 1932, in Brooklyn NY, to Oliver and Sarah (Cavin) McClean who precede her in death. She was a 1953 graduate of the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at Methodist Hospital as a staff RN from 1953-1965, Burke Rehabilitation Center as a head RN from 1965-1973, and she was a familiar face to everyone at Kingston Hospital, where she worked as a head nurse of ICU-CCU, 1973-1979 alongside dear friends. Closer to home she could be found gardening and golfing. Margaret said she adored her large family - spending time with her sister, brother, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren warmed her heart. Her laughter and smiling eyes lit up the room. She survived cancer for four years and lived a full, positive life. Margaret will be remembered by her family and friends as a gentle, caring, loyal woman who cared unconditionally, gave without question, and held honesty in high regard. Margaret is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 61 years, Donald. She is survived by daughters, Karen (Matthew) Jankowski of Hurley, Suzanne Juhl-Pulver of Saugerties, her son Donald M ( Bernadette) Juhl of Naples, FL ; her siblings: Martha Plantamura of Waretown, NJ and Oliver (Helga) McClean of Hamburg, PA; her grandchildren: Sarah ( Shane) Turck, Matthew ( Jessica) Jankowski, Daniel ( Ashley) Jankowski, Amanda Juhl, Donald Juhl Jr, Oliver Pulver, Rachel Pulver, Jamie Pulver, as well as her great grandchildren: Maggie Turck, Maeve Turck, Fiona Turck, Adella Jankowski, Isabella Jankowski, Ella Juhl and Daniel Jankowski. Family and Friends are cordially invited for a memorial service on Friday, October 10th at St James Methodist Church, 29 Pearl Street, Kingston, NY at 11:00 A.M. A Private Entombment will follow at Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston, NY.
