Mrs. Johnson, Steve, Lynn and Tim,
Please accept my condolences on your loss of your husband and father, "Mr Johnson". All of the folks from Pinebrook have always been dear to my heart. I hold many fond memories of the time I spent growing up in that great neighborhood with all the great neighbors like the Johnsons. I believe the experiences and lessons learned in Pinebrook helped many of the kids we grew up with to become successful adults. "Lefty" was a big part of that nad I'm sure he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. I will celebrate his life as I'm sure you will as well.

I was saddened to hear of Lefty's death. I remember all the great family outings we had together in Newburgh and Cape Cod. I loved his sense of humor. When Margaret and I were about 5, he tried to persuade us that sucking our thumbs would have dire consequences. He showed us his thumb .. worked for me. Lefty was one of those people who is infused with love. A gentle giant. His legacy is huge. Lots of love to Charlotte and all the family!
