Elizabeth May Benton, 85, Saugerties, NY, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Ten Broeck Commons, Lake Katrine, NY. She was born September 9, 1924 in Hurley, NY to the late Harry and Lillian (DeBow) Skerritt.

She was married to Floyd Benton. Floyd died in March 1992. They were married for 46 years.

Mrs. Benton was a 1942 Graduate of Kingston High School.

Elizabeth was a member of the Hurley Reformed Church, Hurley, NY

Son; Floyd and his wife Joan Benton, Lake Katrine, NY,
Son; James and his wife Diana Benton, Saugerties, NY,

Grandson; Joel Benton, New York, NY,
Granddaughter; Heather McCaffery Scullion, Martinsburg, WV,
Granddaughter; Kristy Benton, Gardner, NY,
Grandson; Carlos Benton, Saugerties, NY.


Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston,

A graveside service will take place in the spring, in the Hurley Cemetery, Hurley, NY.
