Biography

Margaret ''Marge'' Rundle Severson, 68, of Union Center Road, Ulster Park, died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Benedictine Hospital. She was born September 19, 1941 in Kingston, to the late James and Rose (Adams) Rundle, Sr.

She was the wife of Thomas D. Severson, Sr.; they wed on January 26, 1963.

She was a graduate of Kingston High School; Mrs. Rundle was a long time dedicated employee of the Kingston City Schools Consolidated, having been the cook manager. She just retired on December 21, of last year after 39 years of service.

Her hobbies were spending time with her family and bird watching and in particular feeding birds during the winter.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter Tammy L. Gerard, Tillson, son Thomas D. Severson, Jr., Catskill, sisters Rosemarie Harris, Saugerties, Shirley Felton, Ruby, and a brother Robert G. Rundle, Kingston, NY, grandson Christopher M. Williams, many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Thomas R. Rundle and James Rundle, Jr.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. A graveside service will be held at the Wiltwyck Cemetery on Tuesday at 11 am. .

The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905

Marge was such a wealth of information, she had an unbelievable memory. Any question I ever had, she had the answer. I will miss her every day at work. She looked after her staff as though they were her family and I respected her for that. My prayers are with her and her family during this horrible time of loss.
