Facilities
With three convenient locations, the Keyser family can accommodate all types of funerals, memorial services, and celebrations of life—whether you choose a traditional, simple, or personalized and unique service. Such a service is about remembering your loved one—what was important to them, where they came from, who they were. So often people feel a connection to a neighborhood, and with locations in uptown and mid-town Kingston, as well as across the Rondout in the Esopus town of Port Ewen, we are prepared to serve your family, whatever neighborhood they come from.
Each of our funeral homes is unique, and all are meticulously maintained, tastefully decorated, and handicapped accessible. Whether you prefer the early-American feel of Keyser’s Port Ewen facility, the classic architecture of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service in Kingston, or the elegance of the A. Carr & Son Funeral Home building, the Keyser family of funeral homes can accommodate your tastes.
Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service in Kingston is a classic Victorian building, located at 326 Albany Avenue. The grand architecture and timeless décor of this beautiful building is reflected in the building’s unique features, including the dramatic staircase and stately fireplace.
The Port Ewen facility, a Federal-style building that dates to 1870, offers a convenient option for families across the Rondout Creek, in the Town of Esopus area. Early-American detail lends a welcoming ambiance to the funeral home, located at 216 Broadway in Port Ewen.
A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, is a Victorian-Gothic style building that dates back to 1889. The Keyser family purchased the business in March 2010, making the uptown Kingston funeral home (located at 65 Lucas Avenue) the most recently-added facility. The charming building’s romantic and elegant décor provides a comforting, homey environment for your loved one’s service.
